அலகு இலா விளையாட்டு உடையார் - The God of Endless Play

கடவுள் என்பவர் அளவில்லா விளையாட்டு உடையவர்,  முத்தொழிலான படைத்தல், காத்தல், அழித்தல் ஆகியவற்றைச் செய்ய வல்லவர். திருமால் என்பவர் சத்தியத்தின் உண்மை வடிவாக இருப்பதால் அவர் எது உளது என்கிறாரோ அதுவே உண்மையாகிறது. 

Kambar, is the author of the Ramavataram, a text in Tamil based on Valmiki's Sanskrit Epic, the Ramayana. Clearly with the description of God, while not immediately naming Him, Kambar reveals himself to be of Visistadvaitic belief (qualified Monism). There is a Supreme Person who creates, sustains and destroys within a Qualified Reality.  

எனவே, உலகத்தைப் பொய் என வாதிடும் மேலோட்டமான மாயாவாதத்தை விடுத்து, உலகின் உண்மைத்தன்மையையும் காணவேண்டும். உலகத்தையும் சக ஆன்மாக்களையும் சரீரமாகப் போர்த்திக் கொள்கிறார் எம்பெருமான். 

As the antaratma, the Indwelling Supersoul within souls, Lord Narayana bears witness to a universe that constantly manifests and withdraws, like a web emanating from a spider and disappearing. 

விசேஷ அத்வைதம் கம்பரின் கொள்கையாகும். கம்பராமாயணத்தின் முதல் பாட்டில் தம் கடவுள் எப்படிப்பட்ட குணங்களைக் கொண்டிருப்பவர் என கம்பர் விவரித்துள்ளார். 

The God of Poet Kambar is a God of endless positive qualities. குணார்ணவம். ஆர்ணவம் என்றால் கடல். குணக்கடல்.

நிலைபெறுத்தலும் நீக்கலும் நீங்கலா

அலகு இலா விளையாட்டு உடையார் - அவர் 

தலைவர் அன்னவர்க்கே சரண் நாங்களே 

உலகம் யாவையும் - All of the world, all of the worlds. 

 தாம் உளவாக்கலும் - உள ஆக்கல் - Created from His Desire

நிலைபெறுத்தலும் - காத்தல் (To Preserve) ,  நீக்கலும் - அழித்தல் (To Destroy)

நீங்கலா ( With no end) அலகு (limit) இலா (without)  விளையாட்டு (Lila, divine pastime) உடையார் (He has)  - The Lord creates, sustains, destroys and repeats as part of His Endless play.

அன்னவர்க்கே - ஏகாரம் - அன்னவர்க்கு மட்டுமே சரணம், வழிபாடு, பிரார்த்தனை. 

Single pointed devotion to Him is the goal of the Vaishnava.
